MP Man Dies by Suicide, Blames Wife for Harassment in Heartbreaking Video

In a video recorded on his phone, he claimed his wife would visit her parents every fortnight and argue with his parents upon returning.

A 27-year-old man from Madhya Pradesh tragically died by suicide, leaving behind a video in which he accused his wife and in-laws of harassment. In the video, the man detailed the ongoing issues he faced, including frequent visits by his wife to her parents’ house, followed by heated arguments with his own family upon her return. He claimed that the constant emotional and mental stress eventually led him to take this extreme step.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death, and the video has been submitted as evidence. Family members have expressed shock and grief over the incident, while local police are working to gather further information and take appropriate action. The case has raised concerns about domestic harassment and the need for greater support systems for individuals in distress.

A 27-year-old man from Biaora town, Raigarh district, Madhya Pradesh, tragically died by suicide on Sunday, hanging himself from a ceiling fan in his home. In a video recorded on his phone, he accused his wife and in-laws of continuous harassment. He claimed that his wife would visit her parents every fortnight and engage in arguments with his parents upon returning. The man also accused his in-laws of mental harassment, which he said contributed to his emotional distress.

The man further stated in the video that despite his attempts to reconcile and bring his wife back, she insisted on living separately. Biaora city police station in-charge Virendra Dhakad confirmed that an investigation is underway and that further legal action will be taken based on the findings.

This tragic incident comes amid other similar cases, including a recent suicide in Bengaluru where a techie blamed his wife and father-in-law in a note. In another incident from Gujarat, a 39-year-old man died by suicide after leaving a video blaming his wife for his death, leading to the registration of a case by the police.

These incidents have brought attention to the growing concerns of mental and emotional abuse within marriages and the devastating effects they can have on individuals.

The father of the deceased man filed a complaint, alleging that his daughter-in-law had mentally harassed his son by frequently quarreling with him and leaving him to stay at her parent’s home. According to the First Information Report (FIR), the man had tried to convince his wife to return home, but when she refused, he recorded a video note before taking the tragic step of ending his life.

The police have registered a case under Section 108 of the Indian Penal Code (abetment of suicide) and have initiated further investigation into the matter. Authorities are working to gather more information to determine the exact circumstances leading to the man’s death.
