“Shankar’s Game Changer starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani released on January 10, sparking fan excitement to meet Ram Charan.”

Ram Charan’s much-anticipated film Game Changer, directed by Shankar, hit theaters on January 10. While the movie has garnered mixed reviews from critics, it has made an impressive impact at the box office with a stellar opening. Fans of the actor were clearly thrilled, as evidenced by the massive crowd that gathered outside his home in Jubilee Hills on Saturday.
The fans, armed with placards and gifts for their favorite star, showcased their excitement and admiration for Ram Charan’s performance in the film. However, amid the excitement, the actor was seen addressing the crowd with gestures, urging them to be careful and maintain safety.
This outpouring of love and support from fans highlights the strong bond Ram Charan shares with his followers, despite the varied reception of the film. The actor’s thoughtful gesture to ensure their safety further exemplified his commitment to his fans, who have long been supportive of his career.
Ram Charan greets fans
In videos shared by a paparazzo on Instagram, Ram Charan’s fans were seen gathered outside his home, waving flags, holding placards, and cheering for the star. The excitement was palpable as some fans even burst crackers to celebrate his first solo release in six years. The atmosphere was electrified with enthusiasm, as fans pulled out their phones to capture the moment when they spotted him on the balcony.
Ram Charan, overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, waved at the crowd and greeted them with folded hands, expressing his gratitude. He even placed his hand on his heart as a gesture of appreciation, thanking his fans for their unwavering support. The actor’s heartfelt acknowledgment of the crowd’s affection further strengthened his connection with his fans, marking a memorable moment post the release of Game Changer.
After a while, Ram Charan, concerned for the safety of the growing crowd, gestured for fans to either move back or leave. Despite his request, many fans remained excited and reluctant to disperse. In another video, the actor was seen standing near the gate of his home, continuing to greet his dedicated followers. Some fans showered him with confetti, while others struggled to hand him gifts, eager to show their love.
Ram Charan, ever the gracious star, continued to thank them but also gestured at them to be careful, urging them not to fall as the crowd grew more animated. His security personnel were seen keeping a close watch, ensuring the safety of both the actor and his fans.
In a generous and heartfelt gesture, Ram Charan arranged lunch for everyone who had gathered outside his house, making sure his fans felt appreciated and cared for. This display of kindness further solidified the bond between the actor and his loyal followers, turning the celebration into a memorable occasion for all involved.
This recent gathering of fans outside Ram Charan’s house comes just a month after a tragic incident at Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of his cousin Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule. A stampede occurred, leading to the death of one woman and leaving her young son hospitalized. The incident prompted authorities to take action, and Arjun was arrested for attending the premiere without prior permission. However, he has since been released on bail.
The tragic events surrounding the Pushpa 2 premiere have heightened awareness about the safety of large crowds, and Ram Charan’s gesture to ensure his fans’ safety during the Game Changer celebrations reflects a heightened sense of responsibility in light of recent events.
About Game Changer
Game Changer marks director Shankar’s debut in the Telugu film industry, although his Tamil films have consistently been dubbed into Telugu. The movie features a star-studded cast, including Kiara Advani, Anjali, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Jayaram, Sunil, Brahmanandam, and others in pivotal roles.
Ram Charan takes on a dual role in the film, portraying an IAS officer named Ram Nandan and an activist called Appanna. His portrayal of the activist character, Appanna, has garnered significant appreciation from both critics and audiences for its depth and intensity. The film, which blends politics and drama, highlights Ram Charan’s versatility as an actor, with his performance in the role of Appanna receiving particular acclaim.
On Saturday, the team behind Game Changer announced that the film had earned a remarkable ₹186 crore gross worldwide. According to Sacnilk, the movie made ₹51 crore net in India on its opening day. The website also estimates that the film’s gross earnings in India on the opening day reached ₹61.10 crore, highlighting its strong box office performance and widespread appeal.
