“Will Taylor Swift Celebrate Thanksgiving with the Kelces? Travis’s Mom Gives Fans a Sneak Peek”

Taylor Swift

Donna Kelce’s comment on the show highlighted the unique dynamic of her Thanksgiving plans, which are centered around her son Travis Kelce’s football game rather than a traditional family dinner. When asked about preparing a big meal for the holiday, Donna, 72, casually replied, “Not that anything’s planned. I think we’re just going to be at the football game,” making it clear that her priority is being there to support her son on the field.

While Donna is close to Taylor Swift—who is often seen attending Travis’s games—she noted that Swift likely won’t be joining the Kelce family for Thanksgiving dinner this year. She explained, “She has her tour to do,” referring to Swift’s ongoing Eras Tour, which is about to hit Canada. Swift is set to begin her Canadian leg of the tour on Thursday, just a few days before the Chiefs’ game against the Las Vegas Raiders on November 29. So, while Swift might be busy with her tour, Donna’s focus will be on supporting her son at the game, and the holiday plans seem to revolve around that, rather than a traditional festive gathering.

As Thanksgiving approaches, it seems Donna Kelce’s holiday will be less about the traditional family feast and more about football. The 72-year-old mother of Travis Kelce, the star Kansas City Chiefs tight end, gave fans a peek into her plans on a recent show, where she revealed that the day after Thanksgiving will be spent at a football game. “Football is always the holiday,” Donna said, adding, “It’s football’s family.” This was in reference to the Chiefs’ highly anticipated game against the Las Vegas Raiders, which is set to take place on November 29, just days after Thanksgiving.

When asked if she would be hosting a big dinner, Donna shrugged it off, saying, “Not that anything’s planned. I think we’re just going to be at the football game.” This indicates that the Kelces’ Thanksgiving tradition might not be as conventional as the big family gatherings that many associate with the holiday, with the focus instead on supporting Travis on the field.

The conversation also turned to Taylor Swift, who has frequently been seen at Travis’s games, sparking widespread speculation about their rumored relationship. Donna shared that Swift, who is currently in the middle of her Eras Tour, won’t be able to join the Kelce family for Thanksgiving dinner. “She has her tour to do,” Donna explained, noting that Swift is scheduled to start the Canadian leg of her tour this Thursday. Swift has been balancing her tour schedule with her public appearances at Chiefs games, but it seems she will be busy performing for fans rather than joining Donna and the family for a holiday meal.

Despite Taylor’s absence, Donna’s focus is clearly on her son’s career, as she continues to be a visible presence at his games. The Chiefs’ upcoming game against the Raiders is one of the biggest of the season, and given how closely Donna is involved with Travis’s professional life, it’s likely that the Thanksgiving holiday will revolve around cheering him on rather than sitting down for a traditional dinner. For Donna, football truly seems to be the main event this holiday season.

As for Taylor Swift’s plans, it’s clear that the singer is committed to her tour schedule, and while she has been spending time with Travis, it appears that her Thanksgiving will be centered around performances and travel rather than a cozy holiday meal with the Kelce family. Fans will be keeping an eye on both the Eras Tour and the Chiefs’ game, curious to see how both major events unfold during the busy holiday period.
